Minster OSTEOARTHRITIS SUFFERERS AND THEIR PAIN

Minster knee osteoarthritis is widespread. There are many Minster knee pain sufferers. They are not alone! 240 million people around the world live with osteoarthritis. That bothers about 10% of men and 18% of women. (1) Any Minster knee osteoarthritis sufferer knows about the knee pain, the morning stiffness, and the creaky joint motion that lessens the enjoyment of daily life. (1) It is just not very fun. Now a Mediterranean diet could be some fun though!

WHAT TO EAT ON A MEDITERRANEAN DIET

The Mediterranean diet includes eating plenty of fruits and vegetable, legumes and nuts, cereals and seeds, seafood and fish. The Mediterranean diet allows for moderate consumption of dairy, poultry and eggs along with red wine and olive oil as the chief source of dietary lipids. (1) Yum! Eating a Mediterranean diet can be very tasty and adventurous for a recent Mediterranean diet adherent.

BENEFITS OF THE MEDITERRANEAN DIET

Knee osteoarthritis involves inflammation as well as pain. A review of 3 research reports highlights that biomarkers of inflammation and cartilage degradation because of osteoarthritis decreased in the Mediterranean diet group. (1) Particularly, the pro-inflammatory cytokine IL-1α decreased in the Mediterranean diet group.
